Dear Parents,

 

Thank you for Registering your child's name for the PIETA Memorial Mass held annually on the second Friday of November. 

 

As the mass will be dedicated to the memory of our children, we would like your help to PERSONALIZE the mass for them.  Here are some things YOU NEED TO DO: 
 
1  PREPARE A TEALIGHT HOLDER WITH CHILD’S NAME

 

The Mass will include lighting a candle for your child who have died.  Please bring to the Church a tealight HOLDER decorated and marked with your child's name. We will provide the tealight candles for you to light before mass begins.  Please remember to collect your holders after Mass.

For fire safety, candles with open flame candles will not be allowed. Led candles or battery powered candles are acceptable. See examples below. 
 
2  EMAIL US A PHOTO OF YOUR CHILD FOR A MONTAGE (OPTIONAL)

 

There will be a Remembrance montage (slide presentation) during Mass, with the names of all children registered. If you wish to include your child's photo (if applicable) or a visual symbol, please email the photo/symbol to pietamass@gmail.com by 4th Nov. A visual symbol is any picture you find comforting or meaningful (eg heart, flower or any significant symbol).   We regret that we will be unable to include any images after the deadline. 

 
3  COME HALF AN HOUR EARLY BEFORE MASS 

 

Kindly report to the CHECK-IN TABLE at the entrance lobby of the Church when you arrive. Thereafter please proceed into the Church with your Tealight Holder, place it on the designated table near the altar and light the candle for your child before Mass begins. 

 
4.  OTHER INFORMATION 

 

PARKING AT THE CHURCH

Parking is available at the Church - please follow the directions of the Wardens on duty.

COLLECTION AT MASS

Any collection taken for Mass will go towards defraying the cost of the Memorial Mass and for the hosting Church.
